The next in my continuing series of posts from Forget-Me-Not, now available from The Wild Rose Press. A little romance, in belated honor of Valentine's Day:
His pupils grew darker. The awe she had seen on his face was gone, replaced by stark desire. She leaned in closer, sliding her hands around his neck, stroking the hair at the nape of his neck. She lifted her lips up to his, waiting. He stood stock still, unmoving, arms at rest by his sides. Her confidence never wavered. For once, she was in control of the situation with a man.

Kiss already! lol great!
It's always good to be in control :-) Now kiss! lol
I like this. It's a soft moment, not hectic, but it hints at a lot of character development. Makes me interested in reading the rest of the story, which I suppose is a big part of excerpting, eh? Nice 6.
Slow, patient, control is very sexy to me. Nice 6 :)
Great moment
Is she, or are you teasing us? :) Love your six this week, Linda!
Great to see a dynamic heroine! Great six!
What's she going to do with that control, I wonder?
The balance of power in seduction, intriguing--but in the face of that desire, how long can she stay in control?
I have a feeling she'll become addicted to having the control. ;) Great excerpt!
Well now, what was he in awe of her for?
However, it was nice and sensual.
Oh yeah. LOVE being in control!
I like this . She's in control but it's not overpowering. NIcely done
Love it when a woman recognizes desire in a man's eyes...and with it, her own powers. Great.
Oooo - why is he resisting?
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Seduction is always fun!
Nice post. I like the sense of the strong heroine. :)
Yay for control!
Seems to hint a deep past for her, but this is such a gentle moment. I like it.
Very nice six. :)
